Migrate to D365 FFO: real stories of Digital Transformation

Practical examples of a future already present. On March 20 and 27 took place two Concert workshops dedicated to sharing experiences on the Dynamics 365 For Finance and Operations platform.

Tamara Zancan, Partner Marketing Advisor of Microsoft and Giorgio Rossi, Board Director of Concert welcomed the two sessions that were held in Milan at Microsoft House with the participation of many customers and partners.

The meeting continued with a speech of Fabio Santini, Director of Partner division and small and medium-sized business market of Microsoft, who spoke about Digital Transformation, the value and trend of the Microsoft offer and, later, with Sebastiano Soldano, Sales Executive of Concert, which introduced the theme of migration to Dynamics 365 discussing the approach to the project and the methodology.

Then came the moment of Marco Scotoni, Solution Architect of Concert who illustrated the potential of Dynamics 365 For Finance and Operations and, more specifically, of migration methodology, architecture, tools and continuous update.

Elena Stanzione, Solution Architect of Concert explained how the Digital Transformation takes place, that is the Innovation part of Concert that studies market trends, dominates all Microsoft technologies, and offers to its customers the high technological knowledge to support the historical business skills of process and the traditional field of management systems.

Important the precious testimonies of two Concert customers who brought their experience on Dynamics 365 For Finance and Operations.

On March 20, Walter Geromel, Global ICT Director of Texa told how the Cloud and Dynamics 365, in particular, allow to meet the needs of a business that is constantly expanding and evolving with a strong focus on international markets.

"I knew that CONCERT had already had significant experiences with Dynamics 365 For Finance & Operations, we immediately contacted them to start the first project for Texa USA." Said Walter Geromel, Global ICT Director of Texa.

The Rulli Rulmeca company represented on March 27 by Andrea Brignoli, Corporate IT Manager of Rulli Rulmeca, adopted Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 as ERP for all the group's offices, while in 2018, thanks to its pragmatic and results-oriented approach, it decided to upgrade the system to the latest released version, switching to D365 FFO.

"The release upgrade to D365 FFO will allow us to exploit the potential of Microsoft's Cloud, while continuing to exploit the great flexibility of the system we already know. The historic partnership with Concert continues with this project, in parallel with the re-engineering of the company's technical data and the complete revision of the accounting and management control model.” Said Andrea Brignoli, Corporate IT Manager of Rulli Rulmeca.

Finally, with Ugo Mango, CRM Architect of Concert, a sales management model was presented to understand how to transform a contact into an opportunity.

The two events were an opportunity for discussion, mutual exchange and sharing of practical examples of Digital Transformation, to sensitize companies to innovate and explain them how the Cloud is fundamental and can improve their business in terms of economic efficiency.
