Espedia and ICM.S exhibitors of SPS IPC Drives 2017

Parma – May 23rd – 25th, 2017 - Last May 25th held the 7th Edition of SPS IPC Drives exhibition, the most important national automation event dedicated to the manufacturing world, with a growth of 20% compared to 2016 that registered 33,000 visitors and 738 exhibitors.

During the three days, we talked about Smart Factory, advanced automation for production processes and digital revolution. The event is not only a showcase of technologies but a workshop of solutions appreciated by manufacturing companies, especially SMEs.

Among the exhibitors there were also ICM.S and Espedia, SAP Platinum Partner of the Ethica Group, to meet clients and leaders of manufacturing companies to explain how new technologies within the Industry 4.0 connect processes, things and people in an increasingly intelligent and innovative manner and how to better catch the opportunities of the Internet of Things with the new SAP Leonardo suite representing a complete system of digital innovation with its latest integration.

Many clients also took part at the ICM.S workshop - "Industry 4.0 - From theory to practice: success stories of product data integration in management processes.".

Mauro Coghetto, Business Development at ICM.S, explained as in 2017, the urgency for production technology replacements and favorable fiscal incentives are finally pushing Industry 4.0 investments in the manufacturing area. ICM.S, SAP Partner with a large customer base in the manufacturing industry, has been involved in several projects based on the integration of machine data into business processes, with the target to improve operational efficiency and to enhance the real-time visibility on the performance of  the production floor.

During the speech, Mauro Coghetto also showed some important success stories, highlighting technology requirements, business needs and customer measured improvements.
